This happened about two years ago during the summer holidays. My cousin had come to stay with us for a couple of weeks, and we had plenty of free time to spend together. I taught him the basics of playing the guitar. This included how to hold the guitar properly, how to position his fingers on the fretboard, and how to strum the strings correctly. I also introduced him to some simple chords and how to transition between them smoothly. The person I taught was my cousin, who was 12 years old at that time. He had always shown an interest in music and was eager to learn a musical instrument, but he had never had the chance to do so before. I decided to teach him because he had expressed a strong desire to learn, and I wanted to share my passion for music with him. I remembered how learning to play the guitar had brought me immense joy and relaxation, and I wanted him to experience the same. Additionally, teaching him was a way for us to bond and spend quality time together. The teaching experience was incredibly fulfilling. I felt proud and happy to see my cousin's enthusiasm and progress. Each time he successfully played a chord or strummed a familiar tune, his face would light up with excitement, which made all the effort worthwhile. I also felt a sense of accomplishment in being able to pass on a skill that I had spent years mastering. It was a rewarding experience, and it strengthened our relationship.
