I disagree with this opinion because libraries are more important for studying. First of all, the main purpose of a university is academic learning. Students need books, computers, and quiet spaces to do their researchs 2 . Therefore, libraries require more financial support to update materials and equipments 3 . If universities do not invest enough in libraries, the quality of education will go down and students cannot prepare well for their careers. On the other hand, sports are also good for student health. Playing sports help them relax 4 after hard classes. However, sports facilities like football fields or swimming pools do not need to be updated every year. Furthermore, students can do sports 5 outside the university, such as in public parks or private gyms. Because of this, universities do not need to spend too much money on physical activities. In conclusion, while physical activities are beneficial, academic facilities must be prioritized. Universities should not to 6 divide their budget equally, but they should give the lion share 7 of their funds to libraries to ensure students' academic success.
