NỘI DUNG LÝ THUYẾT (TÀI LIỆU GỐC TRANG 17) Kiểu bẫy "Từ thượng nghĩa và hạ nghĩa" (上下义替换) xuất hiện rất nhiều tại các bài kiểm tra nghe IELTS. Cơ chế hoạt động: Câu hỏi của đề bài sử dụng từ khái quát, mang tính bao hàm rộng (Từ thượng nghĩa). Còn trong văn bản lời thoại nghe được, người nói lại dùng một từ cụ thể, chi tiết nằm bên trong nhóm đó (Từ hạ nghĩa). Học sinh nếu chỉ chăm chăm đi dò tìm từ ngữ bề mặt giống y hệt câu hỏi sẽ bị mất dấu thông tin. 💡 Mẹo xử lý tư liệu nghe: Trước khi làm bài, hãy đọc lướt qua câu hỏi và tự dự đoán xem các danh từ khái quát trên đề bài có thể được cụ thể hóa bằng những từ ngữ chi tiết nào trong đoạn văn tư liệu. Ví dụ minh họa từ sách: • Nếu đề bài ghi cooking (nấu ăn - Thượng nghĩa), bài nghe có thể dùng từ cụ thể là bake (nướng bánh - Hạ nghĩa). • Nếu đề bài ghi animals (động vật - Thượng nghĩa), bài nghe có thể dùng từ cụ thể là birds and pandas (chim và gấu trúc - Hạ nghĩa). My name is Sam and I would like to tell you about Darmon Park. The area of Darmon Park was covered with glaciers thousands of years ago. There are some areas that are below the sea surface and other areas which are mountainous and way above the sea level. Some of the mountainous areas are basically treeless, as the higher elevation of these areas hinders the growth of most species of trees. So, when the name of the park is mentioned, people always think of its special terrain, geothermal hot springs, and even some old-fashioned cabins which rarely can be seen in this day and age. Soon after it had been rebuilt with funds from a federal grant in 1949 and 1950, this beautiful park was awarded national park status in 1951 by the Department of Natural Resources.
